Naaaa… It’s not that bad. After all, to most of us we will be
infected and feel like shit for a few days, then be contagious
for a few days more, and when the doctor says it’s A-OK, 
we’re back to our old jobs, schools (or anything else that
I don’t bother writing about), doing normal things for the sake
of self preservation and self education.

My own experience of this flu is that it is a mild for of the “normal”
flu that you most certaintly have had a few times before, but with
an emfphasis on a few of the symptoms, which can lead to more severe
illness like lunginfection and heavyness of breath which in turn can
be deadly for some people who just happen to have an underlying cause,
or are just plain old and in such a bad general health that their imunesystem
is that weak.

Anyway, I will be up and about in a few days, so don’t bother to feel sorry for me,
(not that I expect that any one other than my closest will be there for me)

The only flaw seem to be that not a lot of people are as good and helping as they ought to be. A reoccurring problem it might seem, but even so, I’m inclined to change the opinion. As people seem flawed due to the nature of the tabula rasa theory, there are quite a few variations of it that sends light on each of the different scenarios the theory can be used in.

First I’ll visit the original theory and explain what the theory really concerns and then the variations of it: The original Tabula Rasa theory revolves around the same principles as the name translates to; Empty Table. The theory as it’s originally written state that every person is an empty table when born, it’s what the person consist of that’s the important point, in an psycological kind of way. Which in easier words mean that a person is like an piece of code. When you start an new document, it’s empty, but after a while, as it grows, it becomes more advanced and able to do more things.

The main point, as it seems then, would be that everyone start with the same privileges (unless handicapped) as everyone else, and it’s just the ethical and moral settings that evolve the character into the person it is at that given time.

Problem with this is that a good person can have been subjected to horrible treatment in the past, and still turn out good. As it seems, it’s not a foolproof theory, but the variations of it holds the key of it’s true genius. Different scenarios hold the different keys of the theory.

The first real argument against the theory would be the thought of family relations, and how we tend to take perks from our fathers, mothers and further up the food chain.

Counter argument is that a person that takes up the qualities from their parents and grand parents are just subjected to “remote controlled code typing”, meaning that they are just experiencing the same thing as everybody else that’s been around friends. we augment each other and often people tend to choose people that’s close to themselves in the search of friends. This often results in scenarios where friends often means the same thing and so on and doesn’t interfere with the tabula rasa theory, since the effects are not genetically written, but imprinted through a series of situations where the person in question learns something from an elder of situation of importance.

On the other side, as the question arises, a person which turns out as the opposite to the situations and people of it surroundings, there’s a different part of interpreting the theory to explain the problem and counter argument:

The power of choice and logic. The tabula rasa theory builds heavily on the theory of having a free mind. We may choose to do what we (culturally and morally) think is the right choice, and otherwise. In that manner it’s perfectly possible to observe a person becoming the opposite of the subjects parents and friends. But that free mind comes with a price. Seen as the theory builds on the fact that we are culturally and morally bound to another it’s only as free as we can believe it to be.

Seeing that a person takes it’s choices built on logic and not instincts, we can conclude that a human mind is built on different aspects than the one of an animal. But, the following question would then be if those cultural and (what seems to be) logical choices point us back again to the instincts of human mind. The definition of instincts are:

“instinct – inborn pattern of behavior often responsive to specific stimuli.”

When an in learned way of acting, according to the represented culture of the geographical area or law, is shown, is it then an inborn pattern of behavior in response to a specific stimuli? The question have been a tough one to answer, but it’s hard to define if the reaction would be inborn of learned? In defense of the tabula rasa theory we may say that such an reaction (as f.eks moving away when something is coming really fast towards you.) counts as an instinct since it’s just logics making the body move accordingly to the reactions our senses gives us.

Problem is that depending on how you see it. We’re all bound to the culture we’re born and / or living in. Depending on how the culture views on different subjects it’s recognized as different meanings in our world. In Norway it’s not rude to shake hands with the left hand, depending on what hand you use as your master. But doing this in an Arabic country (or even Mexico) is a horrible insult, due to the different cultures making different rules for the person in question.

But as I may conclude, since I’m getting really tired, it’s on the border to instincts, since we don’t consider the different outcomes of the same situations at all times. But we may change the pace just to make a difference; making it a part instinct, part logic, part cultural pollution and part human impulse.

I hate facebook.

The Madeleine disappearance; The entire worlds WTF moment.
Earlier today I was downstairs watching the news, as always. I can’t miss the news, people! And there she was, the same stupid picture I’ve seen over 30 000 times the last two years since her disappearance in may 2007. Now there’s another update where the Swedish police proclaim that there’s no evidence of her being at car show. (?)

Why in the world can’t people shut up about this higher middleclass child, when the she’s just been subjected to terrible parenting? (quick backtrack) She was left alone in a hotel room, with an open window. “We can’t make it too hard for burglars and thieves to break in to this apartment on the main floor!” – like

Jesus. And her parents weren’t even at the hotel when this happened. They were on a restaurant about 50 meters away, oblivious of anything at all.

But to me, that’s not the worst thing; to this day, there’s about 10 000 disappearances all over Europe every day. And that’s just for kids from 1 year to 15 year olds. To me, it’s absurd that this; 6 year old English girl from Rothley gets this kind of attention. Why isn’t the rest of the 9 999 kids getting a share of this attention?

I was reading up on this for a while and got a few fun facts:
- Portuguese police initially thought that Kate McCann killed Madeleine and used the kidnapping as a cover up.
- Exactly one day after Kate McCann was marked as a suspect, the Portuguese police went on to put Madeleines dad; Gerry (douche name) McCann, on the suspect list.
- They were of course eliminated from this list in July 2008, BUT, and here comes the fun facts:

- While on the suspect list of an ongoing investigation, people such as:

- Pope Benedict XVI
- David (idiot) Beckham
- Christiano Ronaldo
- J. K. Rowling (author of Harry Potter)

Gave the family the full support, and a Ton of media coverage. But to me this just put the entire thing in a strange light and makes me ask, what if they turned out to be just as the Portuguese police predicted? What would mr. Pope Benedict do then?

“I, Pope Benedict XVI, must excuse my prior statements of support towards the McCann family, since it turns out they are murderous bastards!”?

I mean, I wasn’t much surprised when it came to people like David (idiot) Beckham, he’s as dumb as a light post, but come on, the father figure of all Catholics on the entire globe? That’s a bit more than a cuddly yank in the ropes, don’t you people think? Then again, when I started reading a little portion more of the wikipedia and “collective support branch” of their support sites, I soon realized that this goes way deeper then I originally thought.

Because; there’s a fucking economical side to all this.

24.06.2007 ca. 17:25 o’ clock there were a news story that caught my eyes:
The French police (which obviously also works with this case (WTF does the French have to do with this?)) fear that Madeleine might be sold, and as it follows “a victim to human trafficking”. But let’s backtrack.

in September 2007 the News Of The World paper in England promised a 2.5 million pound pay out to the person that could lead the police to the lost kid. Let me just convert that to dollar, to let the rednecks know how freaking much money we’re talking about: 2 500 000 UK£ = 4.11175 million U.S. dollars. That’s a fuckload of money!

And think as a criminal now.
How much would this girl be worth?
She’s not old, she’s only 6-7 years old, she’s wanted all over the world, she’s easily recognizable, she’s able to speak perfect English and is able to realize that she’s been taken from her parents. And then you think about how hard it would be to move her around? Get stopped by any cop in any country in Europe and she’d be instantly recognized? You won’t be able to get any kind of good money for her at all!

After all, she’s been “seen” over 130 000 times the last two years all over the world. From Rio de Janeiro to Göteborg!

But, hide her in a cabbin and talk to the News Of The World paper in England; tell them you know where she is, and Hey! paycheck on 4,2 million USD!

I mean, how ridiculous does this thing need to be?

And I must conclude my rant of hatred with these words:

I HATE celebrities that just feel the need to show support for things the don’t have any fucking clue about, just because “it looks good”.
I HATE corporate media, gobbling up anything they can make money on,
and I HATE when people walk around talking about how concerned they are about this, and don’t realize how ignorant they are of the other 9 999 kids that disappeared that particular day.

10 959 999 kids have disappeared in Europe since the Madeleine incident. And you thought you cared?

If the answer is yes, then you can go and hide your head up your ass where it belongs.

oh wait, scratch that. they’re not. I fucking hate in – movie commercials. To me they partially ruin my experience. Since XXX is such a corporate dick sucking monkey, I sat down and carefully studied the pictures rolling on my screen.

Then Sony makes their appearance. Since they don’t get enough publicity as it is with their ongoing commercials on TV for the time being. And why don’t I include the 20 seconds before that. Both Ford and Porsche put in a few millions to come join the other corporate jocks in the wank contest this is.

This isn’t going to be just bad, but I just had to express my feelings towards in game and in – movie commercials. I can’t stand them. Especially when every Vin Diesel movie there is, follow this fixed pattern.

And then of cause, it’s the stereotypes. oooh, the stereotypes. God who can forget the stereotypes!? What’s a movie without the stereotype to let all the idiots have someone to relate to? Vin Diesel is doing his normal “I’m hard core” piece of shit, and don’t care about anything. I hate it when movies does this crap, problem is, that Mr. Diesel really do behave this way in real life.

And I can’t fucking stand it.

I predict that this will cover some of the songs they have published, I even made it so that you can download the EP from Sea of Stars for free! and personally, I’ll say that it’s worth it. Faster Faster

A band that dosn’t resemble anything I’ve ever heard before. The sound like a blend between School Boy Humor, mixed in a shaker between Counting stars and Taking back Sunday. Which turns out to be a better mix than I’d first imagined. The vocal; Kyle does a great job singing sweet lines, in a comfortable tune that don’t sting too much in your ears. and sound more like a comforting brotherly voice that resemble something like Fred Mascherino and Antonio Longo’s vocals in Taking Back Sunday and Chris Kasarjian from Count the stars.

It’s a really effective sound that’s gathering masses on for example myspace and facebook groups that’s dedicated to spreading the sound across the globe. But I’d like to take the word and say that this music can also be used as relaxant music, basically because of Joey, Aaron and Randall’s way of playing (bass, guitar and guitar), that’s perfect together with Stu on the drums and Kyles way of singing. I find them a quite interesting bunch of artists, and I wish them the best of luck.

Ashbury

This is the second band I’m going to cover today. Personally I can’t put this band in a category, It’s a mixture between Pop, Rock, Power-pop, Emo and Indie, which is not the easiest mix I’ve seen this month. They sound more like the cool songs from Panic! at the disco mixed with the early albums from Fall Out Boy, which is a nice mix for me, really. Ashbury use the same effects on the guitars that Fall Out Boy used at the song “this aint a scene, it’s an arms race” that goes in intervals, making the vocals more dominant.

They have currently over 150 000 plays only on their official myspace site, and that’s quite impressive for an unsigned band. Through the entire list of songs that’s on their myspace site, the band sound amazing and really hit the spot with precision guitars and vocals combined with perfectly refined bass and drums to create a genius mixture that’ll get you high in an instant.

The Hint

The Hint is a three man band that sounds fantastic as a relaxing sound that’s clearly influenced by Depeche Mode and Alkaline Trio, where the vocals sound like a more positive and lighter version of depeche modes vocalist Dave Gahan. The band also include a great use of other sounds that the most commonly used instruments, and it works really good together with the distinct vocals. Among the other instruments used in the songs are sax (or something that sounds verry much like one) and keyboards. Just like the original crew of Depeche Mode.

FireWorks

Fireworks really live up to their chosen name, having a much more aggressive sound then the last band, The hint. Having a faster and harder sound combined with a faster beat and obviously strong influence from older Punk Rock bands like Sex Pistols. The band use a vocal that’s pretty much like The Early November’s vocalist Arthur Carl Enders only with a little jump with only a few notes higher.

The combination makes perfect sense and clearly show that you don’t have to scream to make punk music. And it also makes the band show of their skill of making great music with hard beats clearly visible.

Hands

This is a band that’s dragged me in, and it’s done it good, the first song that you meet when entering their myspace site is Hope, which have this great intro that starts of with silence, going over in static and slowly working it’s way up to climax from where the growling vocals of Shane Ochsner takes the music to the next level. They are impossible to place in a musical category, for me at least. But they might be compared to maybe a more lay-back and slow version of Sevendust.

The musical type is more of a melodic type of metal, meaning that it’s not like the other bands that’s been more in the power-pop and pop-rock categories. The sound they provide is pretty obviously inspired by a religious and deep-meaning thought showed by their love for churches and artistic appearance.

The Wonder Years

the wonder years is more of a power-punk band, sounding like another mixture of Taking back Sundays vocals, but this time the counterpart is not going to be a usual power-pop band. Billy Tallent is more of a suiting mixture this time. Just subtracting the political texts. But the sound is still there.

They have a undertone of techno (not the bass elements, but great use of guitar-powers that sounds like the old 8-bits gaming systems) that creates a more playing around – ish feeling over the music. But it’s quite effective as a grabber of the audience. When they take of like they should, with the usual vers, chorus, vers building the songs. Where the chorus clearly is the place where the band show their best side.

Oh, The Story

I must admit, this is one of my favorite bands at the time, showing that it’s always possible to do something new with the already established sound. They have their own feeling, with a great flow in the way they sing and play, including a whole arsenal of other instruments in their music, which have a great effect that drags you into their music like a magnet to metal-dust. James Larson’s voice is incredible, having a fantastic powerful tone and a really large specter of sounds he can use and still sound great.

He can be seen in comparison to Panic! at the discos Brendon Urie and School Boy Humors Phil Evans in how powerful his voice is. This together with the rest of the band; Chris, JW, Scott, John and Josh the sound is fantastic. it’s not often I do this, but I’d like to tell everyone to give them a try.

The Swellers

The Swellers are one of the more individualistic sounding bands around, only comparable with Silverstein where the vocal sound very alike, with a strong tune that’s only answered with the skill from the guitarist; Ryan Collins and his – in song – solos that’s rocking all over the song. when it comes to this part of the music the band creates, it seems like some of the bands strongest influences are Silverstein, as mentioned before, and Avenged sevenfold.

The influence from Avenged sevenfold shows clearly from the feeling you get when listening to the solos that come around on different songs, that can only be compared to synister gates and his work. The lyrics are quite easy as going through the texts the band have, where it usualy goes through feelings and experiences the band members have had throughout their lives.

Crash Kings

This is a band that OBVIOUSLY deserve the indie label they’ve got. The band itself sound a lot like as if Jack White went on a solo project and came up with a more rocked version of the White stripes songs. The band have a great thing going here, whit a low pitched guitar that makes the vocal stand out as a more masculine counterpart. The use of (or the lack of digital manipulation) toned down drum, making it sound more like a live performance drum than a studio recorded drum, is a genius way to create a personal feeling over the music itself.

The powerful voice of Tony the pianist makes perfect sound that could be considered a perfect piece of art together with the wonderful use of classic piano and dark guitar. It’s lovely.

Streetlight Manifesto

Finally a band that can stand up to the band “Less than Jake” that basically is everything you can find in this sound category. The way to spot a band like that, is the use of trumpets, speedy beats and “the morning after whiskey” kind of voice to drive it all. They have a lot of catchy songs that borrow a lot of elements from Latino musical types like flamingo that’s built upon the same elements; beat and instrumental mixture, as Street Light Manifesto have.

As the songs carry on, the elements borrowed from different Latino music categories become more apperant with the voice of Thomas Kalnoky joining the rest of the bands beats together with Matt Stewart (Trumpet), Mike Soprano (Trombone), Jim Conti (Sax and Tenor), Mike Brown (sax) in making a great mix of Latino and western music types.

I urge everyone to check out the two bands mentioned and see if you find a difference between them. because they are both great bands, so do it, do it now!

The Number Twelve Looks Like You

this band seems to end up in the category of artistic looking people, where they keep a great use of guitar as the leading instrument, together with drums, going in a rollercoster, varying between different speeds and ways of playing the music they do. It’s obvious that the guitar, bass and drums are dominant in the music, where the vocals seems to drop behind in quite a few of their songs.

The Artistic indie label is more suiting here, where the band can’t be put in any form of category as I see it. The guitars remind me about the older songs from buckethead combined with Fall of Troy, using advanced techniques that makes the sound just as complex. The way the music is executed makes it perfect for mosh-pitting, and I can see it in front of me, how this band takes of on stage where Alex is the main character.

A Wilhelm Scream

Well, at last a well established band that’s been around for quite a while. Personally I’ve been listening to this band for a long time (2-3 years) now, which really isn’t all that long of a time, considering they’ve been around since the early 1990’s. With their heavy vocals and obvious influence from post-hardcore bands have really struck people hard, gathering a huge mass of fans, that’s working hard do promote the music (promotion groups and so on). On their fairly new myspace site, they already have almost
2 000 000 plays total on four songs.

Nuno Pereira does a great job making the vocals sound like a post-hardcore version of Drowning Pools former (now dead – god bless him) vocalist Dave Williams. Which does the trick with getting you into the music. The band is easy to like, and even easier to enjoy. making them a perfect way ticket for people that’s new to the genre.

it just lay around on my hard drive. I’m alos having

8. touch yourself (very obviously, with sound if you bother) present yourself.
9. Sneeze and present yourself.

13. cosplay while at work, and really play the character!
14. Bring weapons to the store, and taunt your customers with it.

And I see people every day who are looking at Christ
and blow Christ off because something that someone
else has failed on. And its just not worth it, Christ
has blessed me and every other member of this band
more than any other way that I can imagine, or be
spoken.

Just the way everything worked out tonight was
just beautiful. I just pray for each and every one of
you, we wouldn’t sit here and we wouldn’t do this
unless we wouldn’t put the time into it unless it was
trying to touch you, trying to reach your life and I
just ask please just give your heart to Christ, and
allow him to come in and just accept him.

It says, "If you acknowledge that you have sinned
and you ask Christ to come into you life, he will enter
you life just believe that he’s died on the cross for your and
risen on the third day, and Christ can life for you and he
with you? and I just pray that you just give
him that chance to do that, you don’t know what you

your life.

And I just ask you please just give the LORD
a chance to do that and I just hear a lot of people say
that its just, I hear a lot of people say that its just

person is trying to force this down my
throat.? well thats not our intent our
intent’s not to force this down your throat. We do
this because we love you and we care for the people
that do hear this.

And I just wish everybody just to
look towards it and give it a chance, and not fall
out. There is hope, you can find it, and Christ is
hope and your never gunna feel a void, your never
gunna feel that huge gap and that void in your life
until you turn and you look at the truth, even though
you may not see it as the truth.

I just pray that God
will reveal himself to you and you can open your eyes,
just as we were in your same shoes and he opened ours,
he opened our eyes eyes.. just… even though it’s
this late you can’t even speak, I just pray that He’ll
please just show you his power. This album goes out to
just, the victims of rape and suicide, child
molestation, people who are broken hearted, people who
just cant handle life anymore and just have to fall on
their knees every night and cry.

There is a better
way, and we have found it, please don’t give up, there
is a better way.

it seems like this new fab is centered around
people that’s been put through extraordinary situations
and that’s been eternaly marked by it. I find it funny
how they choose to react to it buy stealing or by other
means get a gun, and start shooting up schools and
the likes.

We have seen the Columbine Incident, the school
massacre in Finland and now currently another such

10 year anniversary of the Columbine incident.

How can this be?
really, what have this world gone to, when people just
run amok for fun, with an assault rifle? it doesn’t sound
like natural selection, does it?

I must admit, I can’t really picture this happening anywhere
in norway, the newt 10 years. but then again, we’re another
kind of society. But damn, Finland is close. I’ve made a few
pictures in my head, where people like those I went to class
with that got picked on quite afew times, just clicked and went
amok, just like this Finnish guy.

It’s an absurd thought, but not as unlogical as you first would
like to believe. But I wonder what drives a person to do such a
thing. Killing a person on random, have to confer to something,
or at least bring something to the person doing it.

But I don’t know if I’m to understand.

We have a lot of Christians doing this lately. I’ve been
preached to by this conservative christian guy, calling
himself the pastor of some random church someplace
in the Stavanger Region. And I didn’t even provoke the
guy, I just sat there, listening to School Boy Humor, on
the bus.

But then again, this is how they operate! I actually think
I’m on to something here… They use this as a way to
make us feel guilty. And man does it work! the moment
he began talking to me that I’m going to burn in hell
for all my sins, I’ve began thinking back to the times I’ve
done things that I know (and I really DO know!) that I
shouldn’t do at all.

And then I felt guilty.

Typical. But the bad thing was that the guy fed on it. it’s
like he understood that I was feeling guilty, and would
like go leave the first moment I could, but he wouldn’t
allow that. not until I told him what my beliefs were, just
so he could tell me how much he despised my thoughts
about the world being our center and lifegiver.

But then this pastor guy just fired up like fire in dry grass.
telling me that I was blasphemous against the holy word
of god, and how I were going to burn in hell for my unholy
thoughts and beliefs.

When I got of the bus, which I did almost 20 minutes from
my house, since I didn’t want to bother that guy more, and
because I really had to fight that feeling of “I want to beat
you sooooo bad…” for restraining myself for not to be doing
so.

But what authority do they have for walking around and
doing things like that pastor guy did to me?
I can’t think of any other religion that could get away with
anything like that.

but then again, I’d love to see a Rabiner jump around in
a restaurant preaching about how his holiness don’t want
them to eat pig meat. That would be absurd. And that’s
basically what I wanted this post to be about.

RESPECT.
Without this part of life, what other things are we then
ravening mademenn without any civility in life? We should
respect the world, like it was our mother, and every person
on it like they were family. I don’t understand what’s wrong
with people that can’t treat the people around them with
reasonable thought and feeling.

I were at the local mart here only a few days ago, collecting
some supplies since I were going to have a LAN later that
same day, and I’m walking around minding my own
business, not even looking at the people around me, I were
not in the mood for talk, nor questions. But out of the blue
comes a little kid, probably not older than max 7 years old.

But then Suddenly that fucking kid just *Out of the blue*
strikes me in the middle of my stomach. I were so confused
I didn’t know what to say for a few milliseconds. before saying
to one of his brothers, in the darkest voice I’ve used all month:

”Look after your brother a bit more careful. If he ever touch me
ever again, I’ll make sure he’ll experience a little… accident.”

While I said this, I knit my fist so hard I had nail marks for 3
days afterwards. That’s restraint.

This is possibly one of the worst things I know, when people
aren’t more civilized than that, and actually are able to THINK
that they are allowed to strike people like that. They should be
punished with the most painful treatment know to man.

but then again I’d love to do like this guy:

Now, I’m sure many of you have encountered little shits in supermarkets. Little kids running about and knocking things over, being rude, walking all over their parents, you know the kind. But the worst are the biters. Yes, those little cunts that feel it is okay to bite you whenever they feel like it.

Okay, here’s the best part. A biter got me today when I was grocery stopping. He broke the fucking skin, too. This was when the gears started turning, the moment I saw a tiny sprickle of blood on the little shit’s teeth as he was grinning at me like the little cunt he is. I made my eyes get wide, and started screaming “SHIT! SHIT!.” Now, my good friend, Tom we’ll call him, was there too, and he instantly picked up on it. He started shouting “FUCK! MAYBE HE DIDN’T GET IT! FUCK!.” By now, the kid is scared shitless and starts crying, and instantly, Mizz Mom appears out of nowhere and starts getting pissy at us for yelling at her kid.

And now there is silence. Not a peep in the entire store. The brat knows he just fucked up big time because his mom isn’t defending his ass. She just stares at me wide eyed. I walk away from them, buy my shit from the wide eyed cashier, all the while blood is dripping from my calf, making a nice little trail on the floor. And, just s we leave, we start to hear the mother sobbing. Sobbing like the cunt she is.
